Hey, I need your advice please, my shifter has alot of play while in gear with the car on or off, and the car is not moving, and it does not stall wheater the clutch is pressed or not, but the speedometer does move while the car is in gear though? This tells me that my axle may have popped out because one of my axles were a little short cause I got it from a junkyard and would not snap into place. Would that cause a loose shiftknob? Could it be a bad input shaft bearing? also is the slave cylinder supposed to be pushing the clutch out even without the pedal pressed? It seems like the clutch is not engaging because the slave rod does not fully retract. but I guess it is if the speedo is moving. I just did a motor swap with a manual conversion and this is all thats holding me back. Thanks for your help!
