Most stolen car in the u.s.?
My friends tell me its the camry and cherokee. But i think ive read somewhere recently that its the integra, which would make more sense imo.
Anyone have a list of the most stolen cars by chance? Thanks.

Most stolen overall is Camry or Accord.
Most stolen per "capita" is the Integra. Key quote in one of those articles = "Frequency rates are based on claims per 1,000 insured vehicles. "

how does this work, x car is the 'most stolen' yet y car is the most stolen according to the 'ratio' or whatever? what the hell does this mean? more camrys are stolen just not reported?

Most stolen according to "ratio" = most reported stolen / registered vehicles of that model.
Suppose 10,000 Camrys were stolen last year. That's a lot, but you have to remember that Toyota made a million or so.
Now suppose that 2,200 Integras were stolen last year. Not so many, compared to the Camry, but they only made 10,000 Integras.
Which are you more worried about? Your "one of a million" Camry or your "future victim" Integra?
:disclaimer: All numbers above were pulled out of my ***, just to explain to Rob what the difference in reported theft rates was.
Pat, who will sleep well tonight
rob- who just pulled the ITR into the garage, and locked the **** out of it.

Pat, who feels certain that he would not have had an R to sell had 009 not been garaged
