Default VTEC not working on my JDM H22A... WTF is wrong?????

When im normally driving i can be at lets say half throttle and i can rev my motor like normal (riding the gears longer at high rpm)....BUT when i floor it the motor hits fuel cut (or thats what if feels like) and seriously throws me forward. The weird thing is that the motor does this early in the RPM. I could be stopped then start again, floor it and it cuts out early...... What is wrong??

If your motor is hitting a fuel cut early I would not be worried with vtec but worried about why it is hitting a fuel cut early. It could be a fuel or ignition problem or your running in limp mode maybe. Are you throwing up any cels?

The only code im throwing is code 20 (Electronic Load Detector) But my car isnt in saftey mode (limp mode) But i just got back from a local shop and they said the problem could be that the EGR valve does not have a hose coming off of it goin to the motor that could be the problem. So im goin to do some research for the how-to on doing an EGR blockoff....because i'll be dammed to pay that shop 300 bucks to do something i can do.
