Well im finishing up my body work, tonight I finished primering my car completely and I did it the right way with expensive body shop primer and sanded everything and taped everything off.

Well I took off the side moldings on the door and the door skin/sideskirt just the cap not the actual skirt. Well Ive got about 2 or 3 clips left and a ton of double sided tape, right now the double sided tape isnt working for ****.....my friend who did the same with his car said you could get the clips at wal mart??? anyone know of this.

Otherwise I was gonna buy self tapping screws very sparingly and double sided tape.....but I realy want to use the clips so it looks clean. Please help!

what have you done for your molding?

 

HONDA sells them for less than a buck a piece.

Well say I go up to Holmes Honda our local dealer, will they have them???? or do I have to order them like by calling honda??

I never go to the dealer for anything they always rip me off, but can I just go there and pick um up, I really want to get the molding back on I got one door peice on and it looks so much nicer.

 

I'm not totally clear on which piece youa re talking about, I had to take off the side piece in the middle of the door and of course not thinking I broke every single clip taking it off, along with warping the piece as awell, I think I"m just gonna go OEM Honda...Roper Honda, in Joplin, MO, they're pretty good ppl...

PSUcrx thats exactly what I did, I have like 4 good clips left, but ill check out the info given appreciate it guys.

 

BACK FROM THE DEAD i know searched and this was all i could find. better than startin a new thread i guess.

i need new moldings for my 4 door and ive finally decided to just get em from majestic honda. my question is which part is the clips and how many do i need. im replacing all my moldings and i wouldnt like to rely on my old clips. heres the picture for all you lazy *****.

 

it will show you on majestics website...i know for a crx but not for a 4 door for how many clips you need...
