Can be done, what problem are you experiencing that you would go to such trouble tho?

Take Note: according to your profile you are from Cali, i am not sure if you are aware of the smog and emmisions regulations in your state. Any sort of test pipe would probably be a bad idea.

man i just wanna past smog for a change of ownership...... also a obd2 cat for an si is expensive only to use one or two times. the obd2 cat from the accord is free but just wondering if everything plug in and play or i would have to cut and weld.

A cat is a cat for the mostpart. It doesn't have to be OBD2. Have the one from the Accord welded on and hope for the best.

Did the car fail inspection? If so, by what and how much?

If you're having a shop install the cat, they can also install an O2 bung if you need it.

I dont think that will help your situation, you need to have the secondary 02 sensor behind the CAT
