and this is why people who buy critical parts from eBay sellers are asking for trouble.

ive got an F1racing/gripforce, but i wasnt expecting much for $100. the clutch disk itself, was noticeably different from the stock that was in there. it had a duel spring compared to a single on the stock. i didnt compare pressure plates at all . this was a full faced plate BTW. ive got about 1000 miles on it, and so far so good. never slipped once from the day i drove it out o the garage, and grabs nicely. I figure they have to be comparable for the price?

Yeah, my XTD clutch sucked. Replaced it with an Exedy OE and I've been much happier ever since

When I received the package containing the XTD clutch kit and flywheel a while back, I looked at the parts, made some comparison with the stock units, then promptly put them back in the box and sold it at a deep discount.

Competition Clutch

We use them in both Honda Challenge Preludes with excellent results. I'm putting a Stage 2 CC clutch in a 5Gen later next week.

I used an XTD stage 3 clutch, it sucks. i put 5000 miles on it through out a 2 year period; It never slipped. I just didn't like it practicality. There was sooooo much rattles and clutch chatter, and squeaks it made my car the worst daily driver. And plus the throw out bearing that came with it went bad in about 5000 miles. Im in the process of putting in an exedy stage 1 clutch with a Fidanza flywheel right now.

Isn't the XTD priced the same as the exedy stg1? I bought my exedy from proclutch for 125 which is pretty cheap. I've had it on for 2 years now and still grips good.

Just search for XTD clutch on ebay and you should see the contact info there. The seller is aimcoclutch. If they are not the right people, they probably can point you to the right direction.
