Wrong forum.

Try Appearance/Cosmetic.

Actually try any other forum, just leave this one alone.

Those seem to be of good quality, I have seen one in person, and I was impressed. I will get one someday, it would make getting in and out of my seat a little easier as I don't have sliders. Contact RagingAngel of this board, he sells them.

I think a removeable steering wheel is more than just a cosmetic mod.

I wouldn't use one in a street car because of the loss of the airbags, but that's my own opinion. If the car doesn't have airbags to begin with, then it's not a bad idea, though it's going to move the wheel closer to you. I'd feel a lot better about it if the car had a rollbar and harnesses ( that get regularly used ).

I don't like their race version. I'm not a fan of the quick release systems which use the buttons. Fawk that. If I'm upside down and on fire, I want to be able to reach back there and pop it off. Mine has a flat ring all the way around it that you just pull towards you.

when the car's on fire, you'd be surprised how quickly you can get out of the car. i actually cracked a corner worker's ribs with my helmet when i bailed out of my car.

I ordered one today. Not too concerned about the airbag situation since I only drive it around town once a week. I just want the peace of mind although I`ll look like an *** carrying around a steering wheel

I wouldn't try those teckniq quick-release unit. But, if you want it fo-da--show, then by all means go w/ techniq stuff.

If you want the best, race-proven unit, go with the following product:

They appear to be of good quality. I plan to make the conversion after I install a rollbar and harnesses. If for nothing else, it is a damn good anti-theft measure.
Great prices too.
