Default Doing my first Swap

Hey guys,

I Have a DC and I'm parting with it, didn't do a whole lot to it but I managed to get my hands on a hatch. It's a 93 DX, to be honest my friends will be doing the majority of the work while i do some basic bolting and be the beer bitch why they help me out.

Ok, I have two motors lined up; a B16A1 and a B16A2, the A2 is hydraulic to my understanding and would be a little simpler and easier? My buddy did a swap with a type R motor into his 94 RS so he is the brains behind this but I would just like to stay up on things. From my understanding, the wiring shouldn't be problem because I'm picking up the motor with transmission with Hasport mounts along with the ECU. And from what I've heard there is no re-wiring needed?

SO all in all, what are the major areas of concern I should have when installing this motor (not yet determined) <--hopefully you guys can lend me a hand with that one. I can get the B16A1 with tranny and everything plus the mounts for $2250 CDN.

I'm know this issue has been covered in this forum before, I'm not new to H-T, just the civics. So I would a appreciate some good feedback if you guys don't mind. Just looking to get on the road and running.

Regards,

Kyle

find an obd1 engine and all the wiring is plug and play. the rest is not hard to figure out either.

If you don't have a cherry picker, find a good method of getting it in there, whether it be top or bottom. I've seen that **** go way wrong on some peoples' swaps.
