Default 96 ek or 95 integra for drag car???

Right now i have a 96 hatch set up for street turbo class, full 10 point cage etc... you guys know the rest. The shop that i race out of, the guy who owns it thinks a integra would be a better option in my situation because of the power im tring to put out. the integra weighs more but is set up for the same class with full 10 point et... I know the longer wheel base should help me but just want some sugg from some people who have tried both or have experience with any of this. Any suggestions would be great because i need to decied by this weekend because on of them will be sent off to paint and body on sunday.

thanks,

The Civic actually has a longer wheelbase (by 2mm) for that body style.

Ah yeah, you're right.

I wasn't sure about the specs I looked up, but I know the parking brake cables that came with my rear disc conversion were for an Integra, and they're 2 inches too short.

You have more room in the engine bay for a large intercooler with an integra.

Any difference in traction with these 2 different chassis? Just asking because I heard Coupe's are better then Hatchbacks for drag racing because it has less traction problems. Don't mean to steal your thread.

Why would you need more room in the engine bay for an intercooler? I put mines behind the front bumper.
