Default Anyone use dropzone coilovers?

I am thinking about getting some since the price is right and I don't do anything serious in terms of auto X or road racing.

Anyone with actual dropzones? Likes, dislikes? Please do not respond if you never even road on them before. But word of mouth is good, but just don't give the BS "you get what you pay for" without even hereing anything about them. TIA

they have a lifetime warranty though so if they break they will replace them. Really I was trying to get to ride quality, but that does help me imagine the actual quality of the product.

Doesn't matter if they have a lifetime warranty, do you really want to be driving down the freeway at 80mph and have the coilovers break on you? I sure as hell wouldn't. Plus, everytime they break, you have to spend 1-2 hours pulling them off and replacing them.

I don't know... this is just one incedent that I am hearing of. Anymore people hear them breaking? How exactly did they break? I have heard of neuspeeds and eibachs with defects also, but it's exactly that... defects not ment to be.

I want people that either heard from a friend or have experienced first hand, please!

Anyway in the post above trinity stated it broke while adjusting them. How exactly did it break anyway? Collar crossthread? Perch broke off? What? I need more to go on. Thanks

i guess they cross threaded. where were turning it and it just got stuck and it wasn't like we didn't know what we were doing and we couldn't get them undone. at that time no warranty so we couldn't take them back we just trashed them. for the same money just buy a nice set of springs.

That's the thing, can't find any set of springs for $90 (69+26sh). I heard some good reviews about ride quality on the groupbuycenter.com, but like 1 or 2 of them only. I was hoping more people use them, but guess no one here at least. I still have a week before the sale ends though.

anyone else?

well i look at it like this, you get what you pay for. if coilovers are only 90 bucks then honestly they aren't worth ****. that should tell you right there. i am getting progress springs for 149 , they are a 2 inch drop and i have heard good things about them. neuspeed race springs are like 189-200 bucks for a set. see the price goes up but so does the quality

i'm trying to save you money is the aspect if they mess your car up or they mess up and you have to buy another set or something. i just hope you don't waste your money on those
