Default civic intercooler

if i was to put an intercooler in my civic without the turbo yet would it make any improvements?? should i/ can i even do it or should i jus wait for the whole swap to get here? thx

lol sounds kinda goofy but could it help cool air going into the motor. maybey put a filter on the inlet side of the fmic. someone with a dyno please try this and let us know if you get an extra horsepower out of it. lol!

An intercooler cools heated charge air by using cooler ambient air temperatures. If you are already starting with ambient air temperatures, then an intercooler will do nothing but add a restriction to your intake.

i installed my intercooler months before i installed the whole turbo kit.. i had both ends of the intercooler blocked off and had my intake function as usual. putting it in just saved me some hours when it came to putting the turbo on.
