Default Type R construction, where?

I was just lookin at a post that pictured a Motor Trend article featuring the ITR. In the spec sheet, it said "Location of final assembly: Suzuka, Japan". Got me wondering, is this where Honda is located, or are the tegs made someplace special or something? I know of other companies that build certain cars at seperate locations, just curious. thanks

All depends on which car... some are even made in the US actually a lto of them are made in the US.. liek teh Cls and TLs I sorta wish they made the integ in the US.. or at least gave us an american horn.. stupid high pitched honda japanese horn taht nobody can hear it sound like the road runner. All the hondas/acuras made in the US have american style horns

I normally show my displeasure by leaving long black marks behind on the road, regardless of where I am. Freeways are the best because the last thing people expect to see is a car smoking the tires.

The Pilot that I was looking at at work yesterday was made in the USA. Odyssey's are made in Canada and USA. Civic's as well....

I hear ya on that one. Some granny in an old ford taurus cut me off and I had to slam my brakes or she would have collided right onto me when I was exiting today. Thank god there weren't any cars behind me. I laid on my h orn but it's so wimpy I couldn't even hear it through my stereo which I wasn't even playing loud.
I got my revenge tho I followed her and when she m ade her turn I got right next to her, rolled down my windows down and let out my frustration for a bit then sped off.

Honda has several plants in Japan, US, and Canada. To tell which plant yours was made in, check the 11th digit of your VIN and compare to this list:

A = Marysville, Ohio, USA
C = Sayama, Japan
H = Alliston, Canada
L = East Liberty, USA
S = Suzuka, Japan
T = Tochigi, Japan

All Integras were made in Suzuka, I cant remember what other cars are...I think my CRX's were too...

So your proud of yelling at Blue hairs???? J/k

First thing I did when I picked up the car was to buy A Low Note Domestic Horn from the part store and install it.

The knowledge on this board never ceases to astound me.

I just remembered something....When you guys purchased your cars, didnt you get a little sticker on the driverside window saying:

MADE IN JAPAN
To be removed by owner only

I know I had one on my window, as well as several other R's
