Default Throttle Cable Question

Would a Y8 throttle cable work with a GSR into my EJ8? The GSR one was cut!

oh yeah.it pulls really hard.especially with the jdm b16a sir 2 tranny same as usdm type r gear ratio. even 5th gear pulls hard at low rpm.i love it.if u plan to do a swap near in the future.dont waste your money on d series like i regreted how much money i wasted on my old d series.
i am lucky to find a very nice b16a sir 2 complete swap (all original) with about 35k miles on them.

Could even use a 90-93 Integra throttle cable also. That's what I use with my B series swap in my 93 DX Hatch.
