Brake Master cylinder question!!!!

Default Brake Master cylinder question!!!!

if i do a rear disk conversion on my 1988 hatch, (from a 1992 integra) do i need to replace the brake booster and master cylinder??? or just the 4040 Prop valve.

You dont HAVE to but to actually be able to tell a difference from before you need to.

thanks, and i was reading that the integra has bigger front rotos then the civic(makes sense). if i just swapped the rotors and caliper from the front would it work?

No, you need the 90-93 Integra knuckles, or 90-91 Civic EX Sedan knuckles to mount the Integra brake hardware onto.

Swap everything from the teg if you can, you will have tremendous stopping power. only thing is that some 14" wheels like hx's will not fit the front caliper without it being grinded down or with the use of spacers. and 13" are out of the question.

thanks, i have a hole 1992 teg im using for parts so thats no problem, also im looking into the 15 flat black rota slips so thats not a problem eather.

no problem. it is recommended to at least change out the rear trailing arm bushings to polyurathane bushings. also won't hurt to upgrade to steel braided brake lines. this is a non abs donor car right?

i think it dosent have ABS but im not sure how to check??

the rotors will have little notches in which a speed sensor will be present on the assembly. the easiest way is to look under the hood on the passenger side you should see a box with awhole bunch of brake line coming out of it.
