I have a 94 civic ex coupe with just an exhaust right now. I could start with the cold air intake, headers, cams, n so on but people tell me to decide between fixing up the stock engine or swaping. Which one is really better. And if swaping is better, which engine is best.

 

go with a swap first. get a b18c1 if you have the cash and if not, go with a b20. then you can always upgade as you get more money. if you buy the turbo now then your limited as to what you can do later.

 

 

umm money for money get a B16 swap. Then when you get moeny get a B18c block. Then when you get money build the block. Then when you get money turbo it. Then when you get money give me some.

If you have the money right away for the B18c get it. Its killer compared to the B16 to be honest and the higher displacment motors react better to mods also.

Swap. More stock performance and less hassle out of the box. It also gives you a much higher 'performance ceiling' DOHC rocks!
