Default Apexi VAFC2...

So I had a friend install an Apexi VAFC2 for my d16Y8, he said he would connect it but not tune it, so he did so. I now just use it to set my vtec lo-hi and hi-lo lower. Someone told me thats not a good idea. Should I take it off or tune it? Im pretty much stock...all I have is a Short Ram K&N Intake, DC Sports Header, 2.5" Cat-Back System, 7lb. Lightweight Fidanza Flywheel, and a Stage 1 Exedy Racing Clutch. What do you guys suggest?

about 75 for the jumper harness and 175 for a chipped ecu from phearable (with a basemap for your setup) and they will have the ability to be fully tuned to what ever setup you have now or later on down the road. and ive heard of people making more power by taking off a tuned vafc and just getting tuned with a chipped ecu running crome
