Default Need new brakes for my ek... any suggestions?

Hey guys, my civic just isnt used to H22 and I feel I need new brakes. im clueless on what i want. I want to be able to stop way faster for a reasonable price. any suggestions??????

do you have rear disc brakes? i would start with that first if you haven't done it already.

Rear disc brakes don't decrease stopping distance, they resist fade.

If you want better stopping power, get a GSR master cylinder and some good brake pads. It'll be a massive difference over your stock setup.

i dont have the money or experience to do rear discs...i just ordered some hawk pads..... im not sure if slotted roters are needed at this point

slotted rotors won't make that much of a difference. like archidictus mention, upgrading the M/C and booster would be great.

Get 99-00 Si front brakes, they are bigger than your currect set up, top it off with an Si MC.

do what he said, also he has them for sale. hahahhaa, anyways just get the 99-00 brakes front and back it's not hard to do. also M/C and prop valve.

Nah he doesn't need the prop valve, the DX and Si share the same prop valve.

x2, bigger MC and some good pads. No need for ridiculous brakes. Many people don't know what good (thick) rotors and good pads/fluid will do for them.
