Default Do i need a ls/vtec conversion kit?

Ok i have 2001 integra. My machanic is going to put a B18A1 block with my GSR head. Will this work? Overheat? I want a reliable car so if any one can help me that would be great.

yes u need an ls/vtec kit. if u dont u will never have vtec cause u wont have enough oil if any going to the head. golden eagle sells it. it also comes with the dowel pins and oil lines ur going to need.

cause you'll be installing a block off of a car that is older than yours.

why don';t you just keep the complete gsr? upgrade the rod bolt, better cams, cam gear and header, and intake manifold. you be set.
