AEMtruPowerpulleys
I just recieved my AEM tru Power Pulleys...they look really cool they came with belts too....i do have a question...i belive it replaces the alternator and powersteering pulley...does the aem tru power pulleys come with a crank shaft pulley? ....also can i just completley elimante my powersteering or would that defeat the purpose of the powersteering pulley? thanks yall trying to gain hp piece by piece
I think you have no idea what you're doing
Anyway, the AEM kit uses your stock crank pulley. The UR kit would have included the crank pulley. If you remove your powersteering, you'd have no need to the pulley, because you'd have no pump

FYI, you will not gain much from those pulleys....if you want to gain power from reducing drag/rotating mass remove PS and AC, use the AEM alternator pulley, get a UR crank pulley (no, it won't blow up your engine), and get an 8lb flywheel and lighter clutch assembly. Lighter wheels will also work wonders but that's getting into more $$$$....
if you are wanting power, stop spending money on petty bolt ons.
why would you buy something and not know exactly what it does before the transaction?
I, for one, hated the effects of the alternator pulley. Slower windows and dimmer lights.

hey thanks man...well i have removed the ac and will b removing the powersteering seeing as tho i generate more power without it then with the ps pulley....i will deff use the alternator pulley....but just to clear it up i would see better gains by removing the powersteering completley rather than using the pulley?

Yes, the pulley won't do crap...removing the whole system will make a difference.

If you're deleting your PS, then get the Ultra R. And, no, your engine will not blow up because of the pulley. You may blow it up on your own though
