Rev limiter - JDM ITR
Well I found out pretty quick that the jdm ecus are speed limited to 200kph but I've yet to hit the rev limiter.
I swear I have seen it pretty close to 9k when shifting. I haven't pulled the ecu to see if it has been modified but does anyone know at what rpm the jdm itr's hit fuel/ign cut for revs?
I know my GSR's tach is off bigtime in the upper revs. When I take it to 9500rpm per hondata/ecu it only says about 9100 on the dash.

That is what I was thinking. Well according to the dash it has seen 8800 rpm and I haven't hit fuel/ign cut. Guess I better pull the ecu and confirm it hasn't been chipped or anything.
my JDM R doesnt have speed cut.. well yet to hit it? fastest track in our country can reach 195km area and i was sure that most jap cars are limited to 180-185, only the non type r's seem to have it here in new zealand. also it shows 9000 rpm on the oem rev gauge but this is pretty un-accurate. my vafc2 shows like 2700rpm when its actually reading 3000rpm on the oem gauge
I drank a few beers last night and said screw it lets find the rev limiter. It hit fuel/ign cut at 9000 rpm on my tac. So if the ecu is set to 8600 then it appears the tac is off 400rpm which sounds just like my usdm gsr.
