Default rywire vtec sub harness

this is the subharness that has the knock, O2, vtec oil pressure, vtec solenoid, and one other plug that I can't think of right now.

Question, what is the blue and orange wire for?

That is for a toggle switch so you can check what code it is throwing mate...that is once checking engine light comes on you turn the toggle on and it will start blinking.

Back to the topic on hand...

So instead of checking the red blinks on the ECU for a CEL, you can wire the orange and blue to a light bulb of some sort that will throw CEL codes? Kind of pointless if you ask me To each his own I guess.

oh i see the blue and orange for your harness is the jumper switch. just solder or connected a on and off switch to it. this way you can check your engine codes when needed. Your check eng light will flash.

Its actually really nice. I just hook mine up yesterday. Obd1 crx. Works awesome. So much better then the old paper clip trick for the EG's. I flip the swith and boom it went to town. Flip it back off and the check engine just stayed solid like normal. Nice feature. Hook up a toggle switch. You wont regret it.
