i would need only (no GSR) an ITR ECU right...

What do you plan on dropping the motor in? If it's going to be an OBD I set up then a '94-'95 GSR ECU will work just fine.

im putting the engine in a GSR 95 body... but the engine and wiring harness is from an LS that is in the car now .

nope....GSR would work fine...OBD 1 or you might get some codes thrown at you.

Yeah, keep your LS (OBD1) wire harness, and try to get a reprogrammed OBD1 ecu. You don't want the OBD2 brain/harness cause it's got the 2 o2 sensors, too restrictive
