ls or gsr?
um.. well when i was 17 with my new 98 GsR insurance was $4000 a year.. but then again i had full coverage & a $100 deductible.. little newbie girl driver w/"sports coupe"..
now i'm 21 and its down to about $1500.. i might still have one point on my record.. and i'm still only listed as a part time driver on the teg.. yikes..

Also depends on what insurance company you use. With mine they consider any 2 door Integra a sports car, whether it is an LS, GSR, or even Type R. Trust me, I asked.
I was upset because my parents got my LS thinking they would be charged the rates for a non-sports car. I could have gotten a GSR!!!
But now I'm happy, because the LS engine has lots of good points.

When I was doing my issurance with state farm, the guy showed me a variable they put into the formular to calculate the price. For LS it was 20, GS was 21, and GSR was 22 (no idea what the complete formular is)
but I would think GSR is not that much more to insure, since GS has the same moder as LS and not that much more expensive to buy.

Why dont you go to PROGRESSIVE.COM or some other insurance web site and get a quote on both........ Insurance prices can be quite different just depending on WHERE you live (in a large CA city for example)
how many years does it take to be not a newbie driver? i have had my license since march of 2001.
Plus, they can tell you exactly what's up for your particular situation. If you don't have an agent yet, don't be shy about shopping around. You have options up the a$$ when it comes to insurers.
how much cheaper would insurance be if i got a LS integ rather than a gsr?
Not much of a difference i have both i should know. The type r is a lot more though.
