Jdm ef9 rear bumper and filler question
I have a jdm rear bumper and I have no idea what a jdm rear filler is. I looked at a picture of a genuine jdm rear ef9 and there's nothing different than mine.
yep...support is even optional (is that the 5mph buffer metal beam inside the bumper?) I took mine to a body shop because the bumper I bought had a dent and was white. It was colormatched and installed using stock mounts and support...no metal beams underneath.

wtf? Both the USDM and JDM rear bumper fillers have the rubber ring around the keyslot. The primary differences lie in the fact that the JDM rear bumper filler flares out further (because the JDM rear bumper flares out further back), and the keyhole is further to the right (towards the USDM passenger's side).
Look around for pictures of the JDM rearend versus the USDM rearend, and you will see a difference. Furthermore, look at a USDM rear end/filler with a JDM bumper. There are slight gaps (not really visible to the untrained eye).
Yes, I have an EF9 filler sitting in my garage, paid a pretty penny, and don't regret it (they're hard as hell to find) lol.

umm yeah you can tell a difference, you can see that fat lip on the back of the bumper if you dont have the JDM filler piece. I used to have pics of them side by side and installed but I lost them

The key hole location on the rear bumper filler is in a different location than the usdm one. Don't reply back saying that it's the same and bla bla bla. My former co-worker had to have the keyhole cut, and relocated to fit.
I'm not trying to get mad I just don't want people listening to others who think they know but have not compared or installed.
I personally have the jdm rear bumper and usdm filler. The jdm one flares out an extra half inch or so. The usdm one looks fine depending on how **** you really are
