idle problem with s2k
I have an 2000 s2000 that is idling great but when you rev it up with the a/c on and let it fall back to idle, it almost dies. It doesn't do it with the a/c off. I have cleaned the throttle body and IAC thoroughly with no change. I have done the ecu idle learn procedure multiple times with no change either. the symptom does not occur during normal driving, only on a free rev with the a/c on. please help
Thanks, Drew

Did you clean out the MAP sensor port as well?

that has nothing to do with weather change or sensor what so ever... hence, it only happens with the A/C is on??? ... its completely normal the RPM fall with the A/C on... what happen is that, the A/C pump restrict the RPM speed (at idle) because of the friction from the pump...
now of your car dies completely, the A/C line might be clogged, kink, or faulty A/C pump itself... symptoms of that, not blowing as much cold air anymore...
