Default Timing belt postion on camshaft: does this looks ok?!

I tried centering it on the camshaft pulley but everytime i try rotating the crankshaft a few turns to set everything right, it comes back to this position.. It was pretty much like that when i removed it at first..

Is there a reason i cannot keep it centered, or it's just "like that'

thanks

its suppose to be on the outter edge, only be concerned if u see it start to ride past it, then u have problems.

like stated above, it's fine.

The reason it keeps coming back is because it keeps resetting itself after you move it. Only be concerned if it goes over the edge.
