what the title says, ive heard both that it is ridiculously hard and involves pretty much pulling the motor (says the guy with an LS/vtec civic hatch) while others says it's relatively easy. What's true? how hard is it?

Its a 5th gen. As for mechanical "knowledge" ive installed exhaust, intake, springs/shocks myself. I know those arent too tough but how would a JRSC install compare to those jobs? What all is involved in installing one?

Im reading the install instructions and it says run no less than 92 octane. I can only get 91, wtf? would it be safe? or would it cause detonation? could a good tune help this? I would probably be running the JRSC piggyback for a while, there are no tuners anywhere near here and i need to stay CARB legal (gay california smog laws)

i'm currently running 9lb pulley using p28 ecu w/ crome. no problem yet. having it street tuned next month so good stuff would be coming out. I would suggest you go witha different piggyback such as emanage, therefore you can buy a plug and play harness so you wont need to do any splicing. just my .02 since i went through that problem. 91 octane is fine, i live in cali too lol
