None, if the spark plugs were still in the holes. Blow out the water and let it dry out. Otherwise you may get some mis-fires.

also if you were not cleaning your engine when the water got in I would suggest some new sparkplug wires.

when my B16A came over on the boat from japan, it had water in the spark plug holes.

It was sitting there long enough to do damage. One of the spark plugs wouldn't come out, and it eventually just broke off the threaded part from the rest of the plug.

Ouch... what did you have to do to save the head? Or was it screwed?

Or get a pump to get the water out. I had the same problem one time and i just let it sit there untill it was dry. In texas heat it only took a day.

I had that happen after I washed my sr20. I used some napkins and a stick to push it down and soak it up. It missfired like a SOB under load.

I also broke a spark plug out of a head before too. I soaked it in everything for a whole day. It still broke.

We took the head to a machine shop and they got the threaded part out with an Ez-Out for only 10 bux. They chased the threads for us too.
