Default Shocks ? And a Comment.

ok the Q's First. I found some adj. shocks i can get from work (NAPA) and wanted to know if there any good. thay are KYB AGX adjustable gas shock Part Number 741005, 741006 and 741007 X2 for the rear. I have the Skunk2 coil overs from my 93 sol and plain to put them on my 95 sol but i don't want to use the stock shocks. i can get all 4 for 450.00 from work. so if there worth it please let me know.

also i was reading the info on the auto to 5 speed swap and it said you have to cut out the floor where the cable go's from the shifter i found that on my 93 and 95 sol it's a plate that is just bolted on. so if any one else finds this it might be worth adding to the thread about the swap.

kyb's are cool.
you should see if illuminas are in there, and check the price as well.

paying $450 for agx's is not worth it bro. They go for $300-$380 tops. Look at tuner shops bro, they'll charge you way less than what napa is charging. Considering your willing to spend $450 on shocks, i'd pick up the illuminas. They run for that price and there better than the agx's.

Yeah I had on my previous car illuminas and I have illuminas for my Civic but still not installed I would go for them for just a little more money.

I think you can get koni yellows for around $500. Try ebay.

For your auto to manual swap: You dont have to cut the floor. There is no cable on manual civics/integras. On a del sol, it's a shift linkage just like all civics/integras. The only difference is that the del sol uses a unique linkage. You have to find one from a manual del sol (SOHC linkage if you have a SOHC and DOHC linkage if you have a DOHC). You will also need a shifter. Again, it's easier to use a sohc shifter with a sohc linkage, and vice versa.

You will also need a brake pedal assembly, the the clutch pedal assembly, clutch lines and clutch master and slave cylinders.

Also a manual ecu. You dont need to cut holes anywhere.
