Please help! This make me feel sad!
My car is EG6 B16A with fully changed JDM exhaust from front to end also included high flow CAT. The CEL sometimes come out and I checked the result is Code 1 O2sensor (OBD1). But I already replaced the old O2 by new one but CEL come back so, is there anything wrong of my car? Anyone can help me? Thanks!

no cat won't throw a code on obd1 check your wires what kind of O2 did you get? Direct replacement ? Bosch? NGK? If you didn't get a direct replacement(no splicing) I would take it back and get a direct replacement NGK or DENSO. IF you did get a direct replacement check your wires and connectors and reset the ecu

first off i dont get the whole jdm front to back exhaust thing...whatever. Try another o2, try another ecu, check the wiring, get an a/f gauge and see wtf is going on

How does it seem like another problem?
You got a CEL for a bad O2. You replaced it and reset the CEL and it says you still have the CEL.
That says it could be a defective unit. It might not be the problem, but if it is, it's the cheapest solution (free).

the high flow CAT could be the issue..dont know why no one mentioned that...with most High Flow CATs you have to buy an O2 sensor simluator or else you are going to throw a code.
hey man are you sure your throwing code 1 for o2 and not code 10 for IAT... ive got this comfused before myself. Code 1 should be very quick blink and 10 will be a good second.. If not check wiring
I am not sure it is a quick blink or not. It just blink------about 3 seconds-----blink.. and carry on like that! Maybe I change the IAT too!
