Default Curious about wiseco pistons...

i have a obd1 jdm gsr, and want to start building it... i will be using it as a DD. I was offered wiseco pistons 11.8-1 12.25-1 high compression pistons in a trade for my spare gsr head. i was wondering if anyone has used these pistons in their gsr motor or any motor and how it went.. i know that the pistons alone arent going to the motor justice. i had intended on using an ls crank with b16 pistons as first step, but i was wondering if the wiseco pistons will be better... any suggestions will be greatly appreciated...

Wiseco pistons are stronger and lighter than OEM pistons. I have used them in more motors that I care to remember; they have always made good power and I have not seen one piston related engine failure.

Wiseco makes excellent pistons. No one makes a better piston under $500. If use them, you will have to us aftermarket rods.

My comment was meant to be tongue in cheek.

I meant no offense.
