Default t66 turbo in 2001 civic?

im going to be putting a turbo kit in my 2001 civic ex coupe. im buying the kit off of procivic.com. the only problem is, the turbo that comes with the kit is only a t25 and wont give my the horsepower i want.

so is it possible to change the t25 to a t66 and have the t66 the right size to fit the manifold or would it be safer to go with the t44?

i have never heard of these turbo sizes in my life(well t25 i have), where are you getting them from.

I'm going to assume T44 = Uses a T4 turbine, T4 alone is way to big, and a T6 belongs on a supra or truck.

A T66 is rated for 650whp+. The D17 will never have that much, without completely manufacturing most of the engine parts. It'd have tremendous turbo lag, and would be overkill in the 10th degree.

alright guys, thanks for the help. i guess it was just a dream i had, lol. but a t6 in a honda would be bitchen. i kinda figured the engine wasnt big enough to get it to spool, oh well.

i guess ill put in the t25 and add some forged pistonds and crankshafts.

thanks

make sure you get both crankshafts forged, if you only do 1 you'll f*** everything up.

You only have one crankshaft. Well, unless you have more than one transmission.

The question has been answered, and most of the recent posts aren't helping.
