ok so i did tranny swap from auto to manual on my EG single cam non vtec d15b well now that i did that the brakes dont work like they use to they dont grab as hard they grab soft and reverse light doest work when im backing up any help guys? thanks

did you bleed the brakes?

if you opened a brake line, or removed a caliper for the swap, rebleed the brakes. i did the swap on my 90 crx, and the brakes were fine. you had to have open something up. also, your backup lights aren't working cause they are not getting power when you shift into reverse. the backup switch in the trans has a ball in it that gets pushed up when you shift into reverse. see where the power stops and go from there.

 

i didnt mess with the brakes only thing i messed with that had to do with the brakes was the brake pedal

If you disconnected the brake line to the pedal you'll have air in the system...the brakes need to be bled, as I stated to you on AIM. There's air in the system, which is why the pedal is spongy.

As for the reverse lights, unplug the harness going to the reverse light sensor (sensor on top-mid of trans) and jump the wires in the harness - the reverse lights should light up. If they do then you have a bad sensor or bad plug, if they don't you have bad wiring someplace.
