03 CL-S auto to 03 Accord 6 spd
Hey guys... new to the board. I'm a regular on Acurazine.com.
Anyway, I'm posibly going to trade in my 2003 Acura CL Type S for a 7th Gen Accord. The main reason is because I have an automatic that has already been replaced once by Acura and after only 10k miles on the new tranny it's already showing signs of wear. Sucks.
So, of course with the 01-03 automatic CL-S, the transmission is the big doozy to watch out for. My question is: Is there anything with the 7th gen accords with the 6 speed/V6 to watch out for? Any issues or recalls regarding the driveline or any component issues? Also, for anyone who's owned both, will I feel like the Accord is less luxurious than the CL-S interior wise. I've only seen pictures so far and it looks pretty nice, but until I drive one I won't know.
Also what's the consensus on intakes, headers and exhaust? I'll probably just do an intake, so which one gets the most love out there? I have an AEM CAI on my CL-S right now and I love it, but I see you guys have WAY more options that us with the Acuras.
Thanks everyone who give up the info.
Peace. -TD
