First of all its a 97 del sol w/ a obd-1 gsr motor all stock....Issue is is that when i unplug the connect from the idle air control valve nothing happens....Of course everyone is gonna say i have a bad IACV, but the thing is i tried 2 other known working IACV on my motor that are the same and the same thing happens....nothing happens when i unplug the connector from the IACV....so im clueless and wondering whats up...maybe some wiring or dunno.....also i was running on a obd-1 gsr ecu and when i held the gas to about 1500rpms the car motor was backfiring or bogging kind of... but when i switched to a obd-2 gsr ecu that problem went away....wondering bout why thats happening and my first issue with the iacv...

here's a suggestion, if it's all stock why does it need to be obd1? if the problem goes away when you plug in the obd2 computer then, well, use the obd2 computer.
