Default how reliable are mbc at high boost? already searched.

I have a Turboxs single stage mbc. I'm currently running 10psi at no problem. However, I'm putting in a fully built motor and plan to run aroound 20 psi. Will I need to replace my mbc to a electronic bc?

They will work fine at high boost. But with a good electronic boost controller, the turbo spools up a little faster.

my turbosmart boost controller messed up after 6 months of running it on 16psi. was driving home one night and it kept spiking up to 21psi. took the mbc off and no more boost spike but now im only at 12psi
