Have you checked fuel pressure?

I just had this same problem when I swapped my b16 crx...guess what it was...no gas...look at it like this, when you open the butterfly, more air goes in, and the more the air goes in, the more gas has to be in...the car idled perfectly fine, so I didn't think of that at first...it would even start up after being turned off...running on fumes I guess. But try putting gas...2 gallons should be more than enough, and also check the pressure.
