Default Ebay parts

Im just looking for some opinions on the parts sold on ebay. Ive some extremely cheap stuff on their but never bought any after market parts from ther. Ive seen short shifter for like 10 bucks heads for like 50 bucks. Is the stuff decent quality or is it like wal mart style junk?

Why in God's green earth would you willingly put Algazzas on your car.

As far as brand name stuff eBay is good source but cheap parts are just that CHEAP.

agreed with tippyman. a cold air intake for like $10 plus$15 shipping you cant really beat it. just go and get a k&n intake cone filter instead though. the filters they send kind of suck sometimes.

I get virtually everything i can from ebay and ive never had trouble. ive bought things as cheap as phone data cables and as expensive as a dell dimension xps notebook for $1,850. i also just bought a d16y8 head that came off a 2000 civic ex with 30,000 miles on it for $120 on ebay and its in amazing shape. If your careful with who you buy from and research things your lookin at gettin into, then you shouldnt have any trouble with buying anything from ebay

We're talking about parts built my "ebay companies".

Not a head built by honda, then sold on ebay.

well then you should buy all the ebay stuff you can spend your money on.
-jdm halo's
-jdm clear corners
-jdm euro tails
-jdm hid bulbs (not the kind with a ballast or ignitor, just the bulbs, they do exactly the same thing as the $300 stuff, just cost $10 instead)
-jdm electric turbo
-mugen steering wheel
-led hood sprayers
-coil overs
-and maybe a combat or battle front bumper

then your car will be off the chain and youve only spent like $100!!!

See I don't know because I have 91 si and my younger bro has a 91 dx. I did everything in my car name brand AEM Cold Air Intake, DC Sport Headers, Greddy SP2 exhaust, short and to the point theres nothing on my car that doesn't have a top name brand on it. Now on the other hand my little brother has a crappy part time job and got almost everything off ebay and has yet to have any problems. He got his headers, intake, upper and lower strut bars and a tons of other stuff and it performs great and he spend a hell of alot less money then I did. He got all 4 of his strut bars for less than $150 when I paid over 100 for one. And dress up stuff lets say I got the Anzo halo projectors he got a pair that look exactly the same the only difference is the black on mine is a gloss and his isn't as glossy looking. And the both work great. If you didn't inspect them really good you would have no idea. Me personally will probably always stick to name brand but if your looking to save some money from my experience the parts really are not that bad. So theres my take on ebay.

eBay parts outside of intakes are pure fail. If you don't believe me, buy them and bitch when they crap out on you.

I've got an ebay short shifter, intake, and header. ALL work GREAT. Short shifter is really short, maybe a little too short, but its all good I really like it, it looks nice and works great everything fit right no problems at all. The intake works just fine I've only heard good stuff about the ebay intakes. Now as for the header, nearly EVERYONE says avoid saying that they break, saying that they don't line up, etc. Mine fit perfectly, has been bottomed out on MANY times and sometimes very harshly has a few scratches but keeps on going just perfect. I don't know about power, im sure it didnt add very much at all lol, but it made it sound a lot better on my stock exhaust (with just the header) especially at high RPM's. It has been going for about half a year now, no problems at all. EBAY FTW!
