The paint store maybe?

I honestly think most painted wheels look god-awful due to incorrect prepping and you can just tell they've been rattle-canned. In fact, just yesterday I saw a white EP3 with flat blacked wheels and it looked horrendous. However, I have seen some really nice ones in the Appearance/Cosmetic section, but the amount of prep involved was extensive.
You could look into getting your OEM wheels bead blasted & power coated which always lasts longer than sprayed on paint, but the cost to do so varies between where you look. Have you thought about polishing them? It is a long and drawn out process, but the results are amazing. This is what I'll be doing to my SE wheels:

If you do it right they will last a very long time....really.
Try not to type like it's an text message on a cell phone...all the r's and u's and bad punctuation makes it really hard for anyone to care what you say.

i have painted rsx wheels (sanded with 3 different grits, 3 paint layers, and clear coat) and they lasted me 2 years with no flaws. i eventually sold them.
you just have to do them right. Duplicolor spray cans are your best bet. there are many posts/threads on them.
and for 1 thing, dont listen to anyones advice besides your own. do you

Because they don't come painted from the Factory right??
What are you supposed to do if the paint starts chipping and cracking after they get old?? Just throw them away?
Yea, I'm looking to get a set of wheels, and the one's I'm looking at right now could use a new coat of paint.. Gonna have to find a place local in AZ to get them painted.

After the paint starts chipping and cracking that means its time to sand them back down and spray em again.
