hey i jus pulled a cai pipe from a car in a junkyard to use temporarily in my buddies civ and i was wondering wat difference it makes if the o2 sensor is left out of the pipe and jus sitting in the engine bay?? should i drill a hole and wege it in the pipe or jus leave it out??

 

That is NOT an 02 sensor. It is a IAT(Intake air temp sensor) Should matter that much letting it hang but how hard is it to drill a hole in a aluminium pipe???

 

drill a whole a put a grommet in it. it wont be that hard.
