Just got a 2007 GPW without the OEM lip or any of the extra stuff. Would putting a non-vented carbon fiber hood make it look out of place with no other mods? Its bone stock. (I might get a CF APR front lip also)

 

It weighs more than the stock hood. You'd be better off getting a black hood.

 

I am aware it's heavier, but I don't auto-cross or track my car, so that wouldn't be a problem

 

who cares what other people think. if you like it, get it.

if u just want the looks of CF and just playing the hard parker role... just get CF overlay and put it over the stock hood then you'll be kool

to the OP, i was considering getting one for my car, but I said to myself I rather wait and get some mods first to compliment it... plus my car is Berlina so its not that much of a contrast anyways... i love CF hoods on GPW... so with all the blabber, i would say wait and get some other stuff...

first recomondation would to get some swift springs... PM fridaytech and tell him I sent you

 

On purely looks alone I would go for it, but if you're going to be serious about tracking the car no way.
