oem you could get a z6/zc cam.

Look for mistabone's d-series threads.

There's a few good d-series n/a threads in the index at the top.

Skunk2 makes great cams. Stage 1 is good, but recommends upgrading the valvetrain. Stage 2 requires it, but I think would give you more of what you're looking for. Both would be very good choices for you.

I believe skunk2 doesn't make any stage 2 cam for us d16 guys. Well, not that I remember anyway. I have a skunk2 stage 1 cam myself but not yet to put in on. The comp/zex 105300 is a good cam too.

Ah, damnit, you're right.

My bad. I knew there was a reason I double-checked the site. Mis-read. Stage 1 ought to be good for your DD application though. Just make sure you get a tune to get the most out of it.

yes, it's a cheap, common mod to get a few ponies.

A skunk2 stage one cam would likely be much more beneficial though.

If I had the cam, Yes, i'd swap them over in a heartbeat. Valvetrain mods are hella easy.
