ok so i have a 96 prelude and the other day one of my friends noticed my brake lights don't work , i thought i just had to change a fuse but i went to my fuses and the only fuse that was blown was my horn so i switched it out and my horn worked but then i hit the brakes and they did not work and it blew the horn fuse again i took the bulbs out and put new ones in and the same thing still happens any ideas on how to fix this?

 

are u brake lights plugged in? might of wiggled loose

 

i think so my tail lights turn on when i turn my headlights are on just don't get brighter when i hit the brakes or work at all during the day when my lights are off

 

sounds like some kind of short in the wiring somewhere. you said when you hit the brakes it blows out the horn fuse? so check all your wires and make sure they are in good condition and not damaged at all.also make sure all your grounds are tightly screwed down. i would start by checking all the wires in your trunk, paying most attention to the brake wires.
