i have a 1986 honda accord lxi 2.0 L programmed fuel injection i recieved code #12 from my obd1 it came up as egr system. I vac tested the Line going to the egr with a drive test this checked out ok. Then i vac tested the EGR valve its self this tested fine also it was getn that vac no problem at all. So as my last resort i figured id tap into the intake spots above the EGR ports clean the wholes and seal the spots back up with small screws and sealer around the threads. i did this cleared the code and next thing u know pgm-fi light is back on and its blinking code #12 again. also not sure if this will help at all but it does a idle jump at times it will go up about a grand and just drop back down go up drop down. it does this for about 30-40 seconds time to time. idles after sitting for a bit at 1grand if anyone can stear me in the right way i would appreciate this not sure wat to do next.... just start dumping money into a car bye replacing parts
