H22 Vtec problem
A friend of mine has a problem with his vtec and im just very curious as to why its having this problem, he has to let the car warm up (with no vtec) and then he cuts it off, and turns it back on and all of a sudden, vtec is there. how is that possible? and what could be wrong with it?
I'm pretty sure you can't hit V-TEC unless the engine is at a certain operating temperature.

yea, so it sounds like what ever should be telling the ecu that "warm-up" is over... is not. dont make much since to me. is that ecu home made... home chipped?
