Default 1988 CRX HF TURBO ZC! Only $1000!

What up guys. Bought this car off bitchasscracker from HMT in December, decided I didn't want to mess with it and to fix my '91 instead. Sold it to a friend of mine for $1500, he did a lot of work to it, now he needs money and wants to sell it.

Here's some details:

'88 HF
SOHC ZC
14b turbo on HF manifold
Custom Coach FMIC
DSM BOV
FMU for management

The car is a cosmetic mess, needs nickel and dime parts to be 100% reliable and run correctly. The car currently runs and drives just fine but it now leaks oil from the valve cover due to a stripped bolt. It has a tendency to blow one of the charge pipes off, and the oil feed has come off on occasion.

If you were to drive this home, it would make it just fine so long as you didn't get your foot into it and act like an idiot until the problems are sorted out.

Nothing else comes with the car, check the latest pictures out and I may get some more today since there has been a lot of interest. The tail lights though not pictured in the older pics ARE included and already installed on the car.

$1000 or trade, don't give me any BS about the price - the motor and kit alone are almost worth that.

Pics:

Car has not been abused, fresh oil and spark plugs. BAC said he never really ran the **** out of it, and I only pulled up to 3rd gear twice and it pulls well.

He needs $1000, no lowballing, won't take a penny under it. All good running daily drivers will be considered for trade, but he can't offer any cash on top of this car.

Fresh and proper intercooler piping now!

Location is Danville, IL.

I should mention that neither I nor my friend did the original bondo job. I didn't even touch it, he only touched it up where it had chipped or cracked.

No leaks, extent of rust is unknown.

To my knowledge it doesn't leak anything, I believe the oil drain was loose but it's fixed now.

To my knowledge it doesn't fuel cut or anything like that, runs smooth. It's running rich and it's open downpipe so it's hard to tell if it's smoking anything other than being rich.

The turbo is a little loose and it leaks oil from the valve cover now cause one of the nuts won't tighten up. The oil feed also keeps slipping off and there's a charge pipe that likes to blow.

Most of the **** that's wrong with it is either a cheap or free fix, he just doesn't want to mess with the car anymore so now is a good chance to pick up a decent car with a fresh motor that just needs some nickel and dime fixes.

Little bit of shaft play, still gets full boost and doesn't smell like it's burning oil.

Really if you're brave you could drive it home as it sits, there isn't much we can do about the oil feed coming off as the original owner is the one that rigged it up. About the only thing you could do for it is put more clamps on it.

It's still first come first serve, first one here with cash in hand gets it.

Willing to trade for a 94 Honda accord coupe auto? It's got about 165k miles but put a lot of money into it and have some extra parts that I haven't gotten around to put on. Does this car move? Will it make it back to Wisconsin?

Already got **** on a couple times from people not showing up like they said they would. If the trade doesn't happen today it'll probably happen before the weekend.

However even if the trade goes through the car may still be for sale by the new owner but I'm not even going to get into any of that yet.
