i believe that on the eg's the belt moulding (part pictured above) is metal with some type of black plastic coating on it. they are not plastic like on most cars. dont hold me to this cause i havent had my eg in years so i cant remember. is teh coating thats on the metal coming off or is it just dull? if its coming off i would recommend sanding the rest of it off then spray that. but if its just dull spray that on their
well then in order for it to look half decent without buying new ones i would sand the rest off then spray it with the stuff u got. make sure u finish it out with a fine grit if not the scratches will show. if u dont use a fine grit just prime it before so that the scratches do not show
Hey sorry to jack your thread , but im having sort of the same problem. My window trim and the rubber etc all around my window is getting messed up. Each time my window goes up it pulls up the window trim that you showed in the pic.
Where could i buy the replacement pieces that i would need ? Also is it hard to install them? My window itself is giving me problems also...it never ends...

I used the duplicolor trim paint on mine and it looks perfect now.
my coating was chipping off before so I had to do some extra steps to repair it.
