So check this out guys .. I traded my complete B16 motor (which was running perfect before it was pulled out) with a friend for his SOHC and he says he now has a problem. After getting everything in and running, he says when he puts it in gear and lets off the clutch, the motor doesn't stall and just makes a whining noise. Any input, thoughts, or ideas of what could be the problem ? Keep in mind the motor was running fine before it was swapped.

BTW both cars are EK's (97 Civics)

 

maybe check to see if axles are all the way in?
