Default jdm h22 vs usdm

i was wondering which one is stronger.. the jdm h22 or the usdm type-s w/ jdm type-s cams? on a stock block.

theres no usdm typeS ? are u talking about the k20a2? if ur talking about the base model lude w/ jdm type S cam, i think the JDM h22 is still more powerful.. not sure. im sure someone will chime in

type S cams have more potential than just .5 higher compression if that means anything to you.

USDM H22A w/ Type S pistons and cams &gt; stock JDM H22A.

be careful, the type S and regular heads are different part numbers.. type S cams are really close to fit in there..

but yea, USDM H22A??? uhhhh....you'd be happier with a JDM H22A and bolt ons, (i/h/e, and a skunk2 mani) trust me.. just get a tune, i know someone with this setup in a 5th gen, on 17's, with a clutch and flywheel, and he pulls hi 13's

k20 type-s cams will fit on a h22? :S lil lost here, friend of mine offers me his type-s cams (sold his rsx) but i havn't taken them thinking they werent compatible. anything else i should know?

The US only saw the H22A1 (93-96 Si-VTEC and VTEC models) and the H22A4 in all 97-01 Ludes.

Um the U.S. didn't have VTEC in 92, JDM did, we waited till 93!

i owned both in my eg.. first had a usdm and i would lose to my friends eg with an jdm h22 by at least 2 cars. now i have a jdm h22a (attarco motor), and i ran a 13.2 on slicks at cmi in sac
