Noise on top of strut mount area
I getting metal click noise near top of struts. If i push down on the car I hear it, when I put my hand in the area i can feel the noise is coming the top of strut area. But can't seem to figure out the exact cause.
have you replaced your springs and struts yet? does everything look okay from underneath the wheel well? i know a buddy of mine got a loud click from his suspension...turns out the stock spring actually snapped. I SERIOUSLY doubt that's your problem. if you just replaced your struts it might be the bushings if i had to guess.

My 1994 Accord was making a clanking noise when going over potholes and when I rocked the front suspension by pushing down on th bumper. It turned out that one of the nuts that fastens the upper control arm to the stud was missing. Fastened a nut and spring washer and Viola!
oh i remember it making a clank when i put my fron suspension in because one of the bushings was missing lol. we found it and tightened it down. now it's totally fine. just a late night mistake

was it obvious that the nut was missing just by turn the wheel and glancing at it? Because looks to me the nuts are there. <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by TomFin »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">My 1994 Accord was making a clanking noise when going over potholes and when I rocked the front suspension by pushing down on th bumper. Where was the bushings located?

no he is probably talking about the bushings in the shocks...if you open your hood and look at where the 3 strut bolts are, you can find the bushings under there. if you didn't replace your shocks yourself, take them to whoever else did it and have him take a look. you probably just need them retightened or they were messed up put together.
